Retractable Washing Line 30m – Wall Mounted, Dual Line

The holding pin pulled through the plastic housing. On contacting the manufacturer they said I could return it at my expense. So much for customer service. Don’t waste your money.

Rubbish. Doesn't even hold up 2 x single bedding without drooping down to the grass. Awful product.

Broke after 3 months. Really bad built quality, not durable. Fell apart. Not value for money. But something else

Bought this 2 months ago specifically because it had a two year guarantee and it was claimed to be heavy duty . A couple of days ago it was full and the line housing broke in half ! All my washing on the ground ! Contacted Amazon who said because it was over 30 days old we had to contact the seller so contacted the seller and they said because Amazon delivered it we had to speak to them .Don’t waste your money on this !

The housing split in half down the seam after 3 months of infrequent use. It is now not usable. Tried contacting the manufacturer without success.Do not buy.

Put this up the week after we got it so around 7th April. Today 13th June, the whole casing as come apart and its fallen off the wall with only one of the lines in use. Over the last few years we've had 3 of these. 2 of a different brand which lasted a few years each and this one that has lasted 2 months. Absolutely dreadful.

We previously had a single washing line and although it was fine, but it only had a small window where it was in the sun. So, when I saw this 30-Meter Retractable Washing Line I thought it would offer a solution with its two lines. So how did it perform.The unit is a lot larger than our single line, expected as it houses two lines, but this instantly poses a problem. Our current line fold flat against the wall when not in use, this won’t, which is a big negative side for me as it gets in the way. That aside, this gives you a massive amount of drying space when you need it. It features two independent 15-meter, making it perfect for families who tackle multiple loads of laundry on the weekend.Installation is straightforward, you just need to secure the included metal clamp to the wall or post, then plastic housing into a sturdy wall or wooden post and then slide the securing pin down through the clamp and into the base to secure the unit ready for use. You then just need to decide where to put the hooks where you want the lines to run. Then when it's time to dry your clothes, you pull the lines out, attach to the hook and secure them by wrapping the line around the tension cleats on the bottom of the casing.The biggest positive factor of this is the flexibility offered by the independent operation of the two lines, you can pull out just one line for a small load or stretch both across the garden to dry bedding and towels simultaneously. Don't bother buying. The worse retractable line I've purchased. It doesn't hold in place the washing line sags so much some of the washing is on the ground. No stars!

I am not entirely sure why this is getting good reviews. Once you go full length it sags massively and it’s very hard to make it taut. I may try it shorter but then obviously that less drying space. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Attachment for fitting strong and can have multiple length of rope can also be neatly put away when not in use. Very suitable for small or large area.

Does the job but I’ve had better.It’s difficult to tension the lines

I have attached this to my fence at one side of the garden, with 2 included hooks on the fence at the other side. It is easy to extend, and it is plenty long enough. The line is of good quality and feels like it will last well.The retracting mechanism is smooth and quick, the 2 lines giving twice the capacity of my old single one.Good quality and easy to use!

It works as it should. The only feedback I would suggest to the manufacturer would be to consider where the hooks are positioned. Maybe think about on the outside of each side.

I’m not sure this would be classed as heavy duty. It’s plastic, with plastic hooks for the washing line. I struggle to get the line tight enough. A bit fiddly.

Arrived Promptly, but on FIRST use when attempting to retract, this failed. Item returned for full refund. But a pain putting up then having to take it down again after 1 use!!!

Since we don't mostly have suitable weather to dry our clothes outdoors, we didn't want to install a permanent clothesline on our garden, so this came in real handy. Once installed, you can pull out just one line or both, depending on how much you need to dry, quite flexible for everyday use. It might look a bit basic since its casing is made of plastic, but it actually works quite nice and has plenty of line length to hang clothes. A quick tip: it helps keep everything nice and tight if you wrap the line around the bottom hook a couple of times before securing it on the other end. And it’s easiest to use if you fix it to the wall around shoulder height, so you can pull it out and tighten it without any hassle.
