Galvanised Garden Ground Pegs – 100 Pack

Bought these because landscaping garden and putting membrane and wood chipping down. Tried some plastic hooks but not so good. These were in packs of 100 help fabric down very well and reasonably priced.

All they are are bent metal rods that you poke through whatever you want to stake into the ground, and then you push them into the dirt. So far I haven't noticed any rusting on any of them, so I'm happy about that. I used them to secure some mesh that I'm using in an attempt to keep birds and animals out of my vegetables. They're still doing that job just fine. They were easy to use. The tips are very pokey and were easy to just shove into the dirt by hand. I ended up not even needing my rubber mallet. These _should_ last me years.

My Galvanised pegs did not bend when i put them in the ground.

The U shape gives you a flat surface to put your foot on to drive them in, so they don't bend if they do meet some resistance. Couldn't ask for more, highly recommended.

This product was used to pin down two rows of weed suppressant - put in with rubber mallet by 9 year old - so all good

We’re planning to replace a large gravel path in our garden this summer and ordered these galvanised ground pegs to secure the weed control fabric underneath. These sturdy pegs are ideal for the task, I’ve tried them out and they’re really strong so don’t bend. The sharp pointed ends make it easy to push or hammer them through the fabric and into the soil and, because the pegs are quite long (15cm), they feel firm and secure when in place. The flat top to the pegs give a neat finish, not important for us as the pegs will be covered, but could be beneficial if they are on show. They are ideal for securing plant netting/weed suppressant membrane and with the tops of the pegs being flat this means they lie flush with the ground, so no trip hazard.Overall, you get a lot of ground pegs (100) for a good price (at time of review £11.99). Strong retaining pegs, ideal for holding down garden tarp or weed suppressant. They are fairly long, so you can get a firm hold, and they are strong too, preventing bending when pushed into the ground. At less than 10p each, this is a bargain! I always have a need for them.

Strong and hold their shape even in high clay tough soils.

I am laying about 50 metres of weed suppressant ground sheeting around the back of my shed and needed more pegs to finish the job. I chose these pegs, or garden staples if you prefer, because they are square topped so that once they're in the ground they lie flat and don't cause a trip hazard. They are about the correct length to stop them pulling back out of the ground too. I like that they are pretty solid, not easily bent, unless you hit a hard hidden rock below, and that the ends are sharp to cut through the ground sheet and penetrate the soil beneath.They're not as wide or as thick as others I've used, and they don't come with plastic washers to prevent tears in the ground sheet. They're good enough however, as a large value pack. In my opinion, they're not the most heavy duty, and I would say that they would be best used for jobs such as pinning down fleece, mesh and netting and so forth on the veg patch.Once I've covered the area with bark chippings, they will be hidden underneath. I am satisfied with the overall quality and quantity.

This pack of 100 galvanised steel pegs are perfect for securing plant netting, and they’re great value for money. They’re very sturdy and great for keeping rabbits away from my veggies!

A box of 100 pegs that will definitely manage to hold down my fabric until I get some slate on top of it, even with east coast winds. The ends are pointed so they go into the ground easily with a rubber mallet (admittedly it has been raining here on & off for 2 days). Go in deep enough that they shouldn't come out easily. Well made & all look the same, no flaws that I could find.

There's 100 galvanised garden pegs here and they are good quality. I especially like the fact the tops of the pegs are square, that makes these easier to hammer into the ground. Being galvanised should help stop them rusting too.
