10-Pattern Garden Hose Spray Gun – Thumb Flow Control

Really pleased with this hose gun so bought another, works very well and easy to use better than the well known brand that I usually buy.

For the price this is a well made spray gun with a good variety of watering patterns. It is indeed better than my previous sprayer which was twice the price. The thumb control allows it to be easily locked on. I would certainly recommend it.

This hose pipe spray gun is good quality. It's not too heavy and the ergonomic handle feels really comfortable to hold even when watering for a while. It feels sturdy because of the metal and plastic construction. It has 10 spray modes which should just about sort out everyone's needs. I took off the fitting that comes at its base and screwed it in directly to my hose pipe that has brass screw fittings. Brilliant. No leaks anywhere.The strength of the flow is controlled by a very easy to push lever that's moved backwards and forwards easily and smoothly with your thumb. Excellent for people with arthritis or other problems with their hands. The flow is consistent and I'm very pleased with its performance. It's also an attractive design. I think it's very good value and I would recommend it and buy it again.

When I opened the box I was surprised that this spray gun was plastic, not metal as advertised. Yes it is a hard plastic but the amount of metal doesn't warrant calling it a Metal Sprayer. Saying that, its a good item, it is sturdy and robust. It isn't as heavy as it looks and it fits easily onto my existing fittings. What I like about it is the thumb control. No pulling on triggers and having to keep it in, its a simple switch to turn on and off. There are 10 options of water flow and you just turn the nozzle to select the one you want and it clicks into place. Its a comfortable sprayer to use and the water pressure is really good for washing pavements, cars etc. I would say it is good value for money.

I used this to wash my pickup truck last weekend and it did a really good overall. It push fits easily onto the end of our hosepipe that has the common and well-known brand of push connector on it. Once on, it stays secure even under pressure with no leaks.The nozzle selection is excellent. I went with the light spray option for the initial soak and final rinse as it uses quite a bit less water than the old spray gun.The high pressure mode is surprisingly potent. It fires a single, narrow jet of water which is good for shifting stubborn dirt on car paintwork.On the back it has a thumb-driven flow control valve - or ‘throttle’ - to regulate how much water is used. This is the primary method of water control. There is no spring-loaded trigger like you’d get on other spray guns.The ‘throttle’ has a nice amount of resistance to it and stays where you want it to be. The only thing to watch out for is the possibility of knocking the throttle when putting the gun on the ground.I knocked it a few times, ending up with it firing straight at me! I now have to be careful to place it down on the ground with the throttle facing up so it can’t fire water at me.It’s in a decent price point so does feel like good vfm. I just wish it had a trigger instead of the thumb-driven throttle on the back.

Having broken my previous spray gun at the end of last summer, I needed a reliable replacement for the new season and thought this metal garden water hose sprayer would be a good choice as it was the plastic that broke on the last one.Out of the box, it feels quite substantial and the ten different spray patterns offer a great variety of options, from a gentle mist for my delicate plants to a more powerful jet that works well for car washing.The thumb flow control is a clever feature as it is far easier to operate than the traditional trigger styles, especially if you are watering the lawn for an extended period.However, I have found the performance to be a bit hit and miss. While the main body feels sturdy, the connection is a bit leaky, meaning I often end up with a damp hand and a puddle around my feet while using it.Even after checking the seals and ensuring it was tightened properly, a persistent drip remains that suggests the build quality isn't quite as airtight as I had hoped.It is an okay tool that gets the job done for now, but the leaking is a nuisance that makes it feel a little less premium than the metal construction would lead you to believe.

I'm impressed with this hose pipe spray gun. Made of metal and plastic; it's stronger than the usual ones I buy. The lever for water release is much easier to use than the standard pull lever near the handle, as you don't have to keep holding in the on position. Has 10 patterns for spraying, although I'd probably only use 3 or 4 for various use. Highly recommend this

The quality of the product looked pretty decent, it had few settings to choose from thin/wide spay, long/short jet, it had an on/off handle which is nice to control the flow, the dial was easy to rotate.The issues for me (as shown on my video)1) Leak from the connection side, not uncommon but not great on this product either.2) Leak from the dial itself, all settings leaked water from the dial3) One setting felt like the whole thing was broken and water was coming out of the whole thing not just where it was meant to spray, that was quite odd.Overall, yes it works, but it seems like it would waste a lot of water whilst using it.

I really like this spray gun, it’s the first one I’ve used that isn’t the usual trigger type handle. To use this one you just slide the plastic control up or down with your thumb, it doesn’t require much pressure at all and no need to hold it down for it to stay on. It has the usual different choices of spray so there will likely be the one you want. When using the strong jet setting I have good strong pressure but of course that depends on how your water source is. Overall I’m really pleased with it, it seems sturdy enough and the easiest spray gun I’ve ever used.

My old hose spray gun had frozen during a cold spell and literally split into several parts. I forgot to bring it in and was seriously miffed, as it was an excellent gun and did everything I needed.I was after a decent replacement and I'm hyped about how well this preforms. Its very lightweight and clips onto the hose easily and the performance is fantastic. The connection is also tight and without a single drop leaking.The flow rate is significantly higher than my old one. It has multiple flow rates that can be easily switched to - even with one hand (see video) - and the controlling of it is very easy to do.You just slide the bar either up or down to increase or decrease and this also allows you to turn it off completely.It feels more powerful and actually does perform so much better than I'd anticipated. I highly recommend this.

The first feature of this product is that it's very easy to use and control the water flow. It has ten different spray nozzles. Thanks to its non-slip handle, it's comfortable to hold, and you can turn it on and off by moving it up and down with your thumb. Because it's made of plastic and metal, it feels sturdy. I order it for my mother because of its ease of use. She's using it now and is very happy with it.

This hose pipe spray gun is made from plastic and some metal, it’s very lightweight and I’ll need to see how it fairs up but first impressions have been good. It’s super easy to use, and I really like the ‘lock’ mechanism that stops the water flowing. The variety of settings are great, it’s got all sorts of spray settings from misting for plants and jet spraying for cleaning the driveway

Lovely to hold in the hand. Feels like overmolded plastic so it's nice and rubbery to hold.The settings are good and varied. Changing is easy.It has a variable flow lever but strangely, no trigger? No trigger means one less star from me. I like to set the flow then use a trigger for on and off. You have to pull the flow back to switch off and I don't like that.Very plastic but I think it feels good quality.

This garden hose pipe sprayer arrived in a cardboard box which says it was made in China. It is mostly made from a hard rubber and plastic material in green and grey, with a little bit of metal in places. It is extremely lightweight, and far lighter than most other sprayers which is ideal for people that might have problems with their grip such as the elderly. The nozzle part at the front is round and can be turned to select the desired watering pattern. There are 10 patterns ranging from direct jet, to shower, soaker, and mist. The round nozzle has 10 symbols on to show which pattern is selected, and these symbols are clear and easy to see.It is easy to attach to a hose pipe as it simply pushes onto a hose pipe connector. There is a thumb level at the back which you push up to turn on, and press down to turn off. The more you push the thumb level, the more water comes out. This thumb lever is large and easy to push even when wearing wet slippery gardening gloves. The thumb lever will also stay in place, so you can use the sprayer without constantly holding the lever. This is an ideal sprayer to use when watering the garden, or cleaning a car or footpaths. The only problem is I find there is a constant drip of water from the nozzle, and there is no way to stop the drip unless I turn the water tap off which is annoying. I would rather have a sprayer which is definitely leak proof.

So far so good, robust plastic and metal parts to this spray gun. A vast selection of spray functions that fit all your garden needs, from gentle shower, mist and a jet stream for those tougher jobs. Feels reasonable quality with a good weight to it, not thin and flimsy easily broken plastic like some. Love the thumb slide control on the top of the gun, makes water control and the on/off easy to use. Fitted well on to my existing hoselock fitting. As a professional gardener I approve, simple and does the job well.

This is actually a very good spray gun that works well and I've experienced no leaks from this at all. The only minor niggle for me is that the spray, even on full jet, doesn't seem to offer the full water pressure available from my outdoor taps. It's not a major issue but for many cleaning jobs it could be a problem some people.The spray gun looks lovely and is very comfortable to hold and to use, even for long periods. The trigger and the handle area are super 'grippy' and feel good to hold. The gun is made of metal with some plastic parts but it feels remarkably solid and reliable.I have 3 outdoor taps around the house and I've tried this gun on a basic hose on all 3 and I've had no leaks or other issues to report.What I do like about this gun is that the spray patterns are actually spray patterns! Sounds daft, but I've bought a couple of these and what the manufacturers referred to as 'different patterns' were simply just varying the spray strength. With this there's the full variety of standard sprays available. Very useful.Overall a great spray gun that we'll get a lot of use from. Recommended.

This feels like a perfectly good spray gun for the garden, completely plastic save for the main connection with feels like metal. Lots of spray patterns to choose from, of which I only ever use 3; cone, jet and mist. The valve regulator being under my thumb is a new one for me, I'm used to using a handle to squeeze. It's perfectly easy to use the thumb valve, although it's a little trickier to regulate power unlike the handle squeezing method, but it's also less effort because it stays in place.A perfectly good garden spray gun.

At first glance this looks like a reasonable quality hose spray gun with a plastic and metal body, ten different spray nozzles on a rotating head and a water pressure control knob. However the weak point is the connector on the bottom which doesn’t mate securely with the connector on my hose pipe. On closer inspection it seems that the connector is the wrong profile which means that the connection leaks and tends to come apart. So for this reason I’m only giving it a one star rating.

Superb spray gun.And there are so many patterns.The gun is cool.
