1.5m Short Garden Hose Pipe 11mm – Universal Connection Kit

This short house pipe changed my life. My confidence is booming. Last week I was invited to a black tie event. Didn't need a tux, just wore this instead. What can I say, get yourself one of these and see for yourself! Also, it hoses.

The pipe isnt very robust and I had to change the fitment for the tap as it didn't seal. Other than that it did the job.

As expected

This is, of course a very short piece of hose pipe and therefore this review is going to be as short. Not because the product itself is undeserving of a fullsome, effusive, complimentary review...it is, because this is a very useful, well made and robust piece of hose pipe that has quality connectors fitted and is easy to use, therefore with other hose type products. No this hose pipe is very deserving of a good review. So I've given it one.No leaks. Quality fittings. Very useful accessory.Recommended.

Worked perfectly first time in connecting our hose reel to the outhouse tap using the supplied fittings, which provide connectivity with both our front tap (an older one) and the more modern tap that we've fitted more recently, so good flexibility with existing hardware.This is also the first connector that we've used that has zero leaks and as such shouldn't have long term issues with reliability and durability. Overall, we're delighted with this and at £8 it's fantastic value.

As described and quite good quality

Great, 1.5 m just enough to run from outside tap to hose reel, I now don't have to completely unreal hosepipe to connect to the tap. Just be aware ( check tap size) of outside tap fitting, mines connected to diverter( spray on one side, hose on the other) the fittings that came with this 1.5m ,fitted the hose reel fine but were too small for diverter but I have various spare fittings and I just changed it over. This set comes with spare washers too. Seems well made. Good value.

I ordered this hose as I'd recently acquired an old hose reel to store my hose on but it was missing the tap to reel hose.The hose is super flexible and really sturdy however at this length it's not susceptible to coiling, the connectors included feel really sturdy and make a perfect non leaking connection.Price wise this short 1.5m link hose was only £7.19 and I was impressed with the quality for the money as this is the cheaper end of the market on Amazon.Overall I am extremely happy with the hose and if I ever require a replacement hose for my reel I will definitely be checking if I can get one of these.

Does the job I needed it for very well

This short hose pipe kit is exactly what I needed for connecting my garden hose reel. This is a really useful short hose designed for connecting up reels and extensions. It’s obviously too short to use as a normal hose pipe being so short. Instead it can be used to connect a reel to a tap, or use on the tap for filling watering cans etc more easily, and then connected to a longer hose with a coupler for every day use. Since it will get daily use it needs to be good quality, and it seems to be. The fitted hose lock type click on connectors seem sturdy and durable and are well fitted. Providing you have these on your tap and hose pipe it’s really easy to use. I usually use expanding hoses and these usually have these fitted as standard, so it’s really simple and quick, plus a tap connector should you need it. You could of course make yourself one of these by using an off cut of hose, however this one is already cut to length and has the connectors very well fitted, which are usually a weak point for drips and leaks. So this is going to be really useful.

Excellent piece of kit, fast delivery

This is a good quality pre-assembled connection hose for garden water systems. I will be using it to connect two water butts but it would be equally useful for attaching a hose reel to a tap, and indeed it comes complete with the necessary accessories for this application.The hose is a clear plastic outer skin over an inner woven layer protecting the interior tiube, but remains fairly flexible and soft. The connectors seem well made and are designed for standard Hozelock connections. The hose is presented in a cardboard carton and includes all necessary gaskets and seals. It seems fair value for today's £8.

Just the job for attaching my pressure washer to the tap when sprucing up the patio. It has also provided a bit of sanity to my evening pot watering sessions. My other hose is ~50 feet, and great for the end of the garden, but a total frustration for the patio pots or filling the watering can. My tap has brass fittings and the female hose ends fit snuggly with no leaking. In the photo I've attached a spray nozzle.

My connection hose from my outside tap to my hose reel gave up recently, so, I got this to replace it. The quality is more than acceptable, it push connectors fit perfectly with my current hose reel and the length of 1.5 metres is perfect.The hose itself seems to be a lot sturdier than the one I previously used to connect my reel to my tap, it does not feel like it will crush or warp easily. The connectors, which are sometimes the weak link, seem to be good quality.This is super easy to set up and use and I think it is good value.I won't repeat the advert like some reviews, what I will say is that the information in the advert is spot on.
