Just the right height for us smaller humans. Picks up, and transfers to bin effortlessly. I just love them after seeing similar ones on gardening vlogs. My son was very impressed with them too.

I bought this tool to make the autumn garden clear-up a bit easier on my back. In terms of its basic function, it does the job perfectly well. It grabs and picks up large piles of leaves and grass cuttings, which is exactly what I needed it for.However, despite being described as 'Heavy Duty', my main concern is the build quality. The whole thing feels a bit cheaply made. The plastic and metal parts feel lightweight and a little flimsy, which makes me unsure about how long it will last.I suspect it will be fine for light, dry leaves, but I'm not confident it would stand up to heavy, wet piles or more demanding garden work. It's a useful tool for now, but I am questioning its long-term durability.

Very poor quality. The vital pivot bolts are so small that I doubt they would last a few days. There should also have been a pair of handed “ leaf grabbers but they were both the same hand so one could not be fitted.

AVOID...What an absolute bag of crap..I have never ever seen anything made as poor as this thing..I think a 2yr old made itWhile screwing the bolts in place they actually pulled through the flimsy tubing and the tubes are twisted and the scoops don't fit properlyReally Really poor,I can't imagine it picking up any leaves and if it did they would all fall out ..how a company can charge for this with it being so poor in quality is beyond me

This pair of leaf grabbers arrives part assembled in a brown cardboard box measuring 13cm x 9cm x 80cm with a line drawing of the item on the box so it's easy to tell what is inside.To assemble you need to add the 2 plastic grabbers onto the metal poles and then do up the 4 small screws which it comes with which should have been simple.I found it really awkward to do as there is nowhere to comfortably get a good grip on the grabber parts which makes it hard to get the on the poles.I also found it hard to get the holes lined up to do up the screws, and once I had the grabbers were wonky.Doesn't feel sturdy or great quality, but for small amounts of leaves it's lightweight enough to be used by most people.it has foam around the handle part at the top so it's fairly comfortable to hold, but it's not actually fantastic at holding leaves as you have to use both hands to keep it closed which feels awkward.I'm not convinced this is good value for the price, but if you are very gentle using it and don't actually need anything heavy duty it might be something you are happy with.

this is easy to use and saves back ache having to bend down, it is not a high quality item but then that is reflected in the price, i feel that if you use it with care it should last, makes clearing leaves a lot easier

A useful tool. Good for cleaning the mounds of leaves we get in the garden but I use this to transfer the branches etc onto the fire when we are burning this. It works very well for this job. It’s lightweight and folds up to store. Very useful.

Cheap price but reflected in the quality, prongs are clearly different widths, one inside one outside but the plastic ‘hands’ have the same size connectors had to bend poles to fit. Screw holes to big for screws and nuts to small for the sunken nut holes. Takes some adjusting but ok for the price

very useful tool for picking up leaves and grass, especially for elderly or those with limited mobility.Quite tall and arrives in a very tall box, need to find a place to store that it appropriate.Sturdy and well made.Nice green colour.

These leaf grabbers arrived in a sturdy box and needing minimal assembly.This was just a matter of slotting the plastic grabbers onto the metal handles and screwing them together. It proved surprisingly tricky though, as one side needed to be squeezed together whilst simultaneously assembling - a second pair of hands would have been useful.The tops of the metal handles have a foam covering, to make them comfortable to hold, and they are lightweight to manoeuvre.We have a lot of leaves to clear in autumn and this long handled grabber will save an awful lot of bending. It's sturdy enough to pick up several leaves at a time and the plastic "hands" grab well.At £12.74, at time of review, I think they're fair value for money and should have some longevity if well looked after.

Leaves are the bug bear of ones lives at this time of year. The endless bending and scrappign involved with picking them up. For a few years I have used a large pair of plastic hand paddles which work wonderfully, apart from the need to stoop.This pair of long handled paddles work OK, maybe not quite as successful as my big plastic hand paddles but it is a lot easier on my back.I found them a bit fiddly to put together, I had to ask for help to line things up but once together they work OK. Not terribly strong and we shall see how long they last. A good idea.
